Day 151
The image I started working on a while ago and I just finished it. I saw this picture the first time and I thought that he looked like he was begging for something like a poor person. The jug appears to be a Double Bubble jug or whatever you call those gums, and I erased the names on the jug and replaced them with something funny and something that applies to both the jug and the little person. He loves candies like any child... XD
I know, I'm weird and I need a life. Oh well. :P

Day 146 - The first day of my last semester.
I had my first two classes today. I think I will like them, for now. I have this English teacher, she's English. She has the accent... :) Also, I have this Humanities teacher who I find the most flexible teacher, too flexible I think.
I wrote a little something in my English class as requested. I had to write something about my environmental surroundings. So, I wrote about the two different environments that I live in throughout the year. It wasn't complete and whole, but I did an introduction... I think she will like it, because my classmate that I just met liked it. :)
Not bad for a first day, but could be better. Somehow.

Day 145
Good Heidi! (French accent) I spent the weekend at Lucy's mom's. Cooked with Heidi. We cooked shrimps and rice. We also cooked muffins. I wasn't really much of a helper, but I helped. It was fun, as Heidi is a boost of energy. She talks and is very committed to learning English. We have this kind of a deal where I have to speak French to her and she has to speak English to me. I don't try, but she really really does. I have to, like literally have to correct her English. I'm a really shy passive person (I find) and I just let things the way they are, but I challenge myself. Well, I at least try to.
Here is Heidi whisking the muffin mix. See how fun she is. :)

Day 144
I hung out with Mike today. It was fun. I forgot how much energy he has and how funny he can be. He has like the eye for anything funny. Like the picture for example. He just laughed and laughed at it. I didn't really get the joke, but it was funny, a bit. The restaurant had this sign in both English and French. "Sorry, we're open."
Yeah..

Day 143
I'll be a bit ahead of my blogging. I actually took out my camera tonight (Thursday). And for some reason, I feel like writing, (or typing). But, I have no clue what to write about. Anyway, I'll get back to this if ever I a clue what to write about.
Pickcha! I kind of liked the path we were on tonight. I liked the "sunset" and it was hard for me to see the path. I kind of broke the rules in photo editing and ended up liking the final image. c:

Day 141
I am truly sorry that I haven't been doing my blog like the way I am supposed to. I haven't been taking pictures lately, and all I am doing is that taking pictures from the days, weeks and months from now. Bad, but this will do. :P
I spoke to my nephew earlier this evening. He was cranky, ofcourse. His voice was half gone, but I could still understand him. He started yelling at my mom saying he wanted to come and see me. My mom was asking him how and he replied "BY CAR!!" He was so cute and funny. I couldn't say anything because I felt bad. I miss his big big energetic attitude. I miss him like he misses me. I know December will arrive quickly and he will grow one foot taller by the time I see him again (I'm exaggerating).
I took this picture while my mom and little sister were having mussels (I think I had few bites). We tried convincing him to try it, but he wouldn't. He could only take it and examine it like a curious little boy.

Day 140
Little Nancy. I like to call her "Nancy Dora" since her second name is Dora. XD Very talkative little girl she is. She is very young, not in school yet and you can have a conversation with her. In fact, you can talk to her about anything. Well, not anything anything, but I think you get my point.
This picture was taken when I went for a quick visit at their house in LaSalle. They were going back up north the very next day and Granny Dal kept calling me to go see my Angusiak. It was fun to see them again. Lucy and Dugald were nice enough to give me a ride and follow me. Lucy kept trying to take a picture of Nancy, but she would hide herself in the blanket. So, I took the camera and try to see if she would do the same thing, but she stayed put and smiled. :)

Day 139
"Be happy with yourself and others, Capricorn. Stop trying to find fault with everyone you interact with. By criticizing what they do and how they do it, you could wake up one morning and find that you have no friends. By only seeing the bad in people, you may talk yourself out of relationships with them. Be careful about coming across as a know-it-all. It isn't your job to dictate or judge." ~ Daily Capricorn Horoscope

Day 134
My angusiak! Very beautiful! Very big! At three months!
We went to go see Angusiak and his granny on Tuesday night. He was sleeping by the time I got there. I kind of woke him up. He was cranky and crying most of the time. But while I was taking pictures, he smiled at me at least twice. He is so cute! He got big since the last time I saw him. So munchable cheeks, very heavy. I love!!

Day 133
I'm back to the city life. The plane system is pretty f**ked up these days I find. So, I arrived really later than I thought. My plane from Kuujjuaq was delayed to two hours. I arrived in Montreal at 10:10. Nobody was at the airport to greet me so I supposed I should just hop on a taxi and head to my place. I arrived at my place and guess... Nobody was there. So, I had to walk with my big big, heavy luggage to the residence. I tried taking the short cut, but I took the longest walk. The shortcut was blocked by a gate that I have never found. I am lucky that I have a positive attitude. Haha. So, I arrived at the rez and I was surprised so much that I thought I was at the wrong place. The place is changed. It's so empty, it doesn't look like a house anymore. Last time I was here, it had a style. The house is old and had these old furniture and stuff. But the person who stayed here moved out, so I guess all the good stuff were out, too.
So anyway, I'm back here. I made it, now I have an exam to write tomorrow which I am kind of nervous about. I know that I will do good. Now, I'm planning to go eat downtown with my friends. I just hope I will be on time to get some sleep and be rested to tomorrow's exam and kick it's butt.
Here's a picture... I love it, I love the land, I love home.. I'll miss it... and I will only take a picture of it with nice beautiful sparkly white snow!

Day 131
I visited grandma Etok the other day with my parents, brother and my nephew. My grandma showed me this thing. I don't know what it's called, but she told me that her father used it to bring seals ashore. It's pretty neat. The handle is made out of wood. The wood is attached to a rope(the rope is bloody). The rope is tied to a nail that's been made into a hook. The hook is attached to a bone. The rope, the hook and the bone are tied by an elastic, like hair elastic... It's neat how grandma's father used many different things that had other purposes and he made them into a whole different thing. And that I think, is art. XD
She said she found it by the old boat they used to own. She said, "I wonder how many seals my father used to bring with that." The masterpiece now hangs on her wall.

Day 130
"Nothing seems to please a fly so much as to be taken for a currant; and if it can be backed in a cake and palmed off on the unwary, it dies happy." ~Mark Twain
Well, I don't really like insects and bugs and flies myself. Just thought I'd take a creepy picture of a fly and add a little nice quote... tehehe!

Day 128
The little birdie nest that sits on the airport stairs where the sewage truck goes to. Salumie showed me the nest saying they were "Robin eggs." While we climbed the stairs, there were two little hairless bird heads that showed up. Which freaked me out. I thought I was going to see cute little eggs, but I saw two freaky little creatures. Well, they are freaky now, but they will grow to be cute little birdies. My aunt said they were eggs just a few days ago. It's surprising that they are still there. I find it dangerous for the little fragile babies. The sewage dudes are really nice for not doing anything bad about it. In fact, someone puts plywood to block the stairs so people would not trespass the birds' home. We saw its' mommy going in to check on them when we left them alone.
I went to go see them again with my family, I was afraid that they would die or something because kids kept touching them...
